This policy governs all vending machines and related equipment purchased or rented from Vendolite through vendolite.com or any of our authorized sales channels. By placing an order with Vendolite, you acknowledge and accept the terms set out below.

Returns and refunds

All vending machine sales are final. Vendolite does not accept returns or exchanges and does not issue refunds on purchased machines, except where required under applicable law.

We therefore encourage you to carefully evaluate the machine’s specifications, dimensions, capacity, and features before confirming your purchase. Our sales team is available to address all queries and assist you in selecting the machine best suited to your requirements.

Should any defect arise in your machine after delivery, it will be addressed exclusively through the warranty service outlined below, which serves as our standard resolution process in place of returns.

Warranty on purchased machines

One-year comprehensive service warranty

Every vending machine purchased from Vendolite is covered by a one-year warranty, effective from the date of delivery or installation, whichever occurs earlier.

Should any manufacturing defect or functional fault be identified within this period, Vendolite will repair and service the machine entirely free of charge, inclusive of labour and the replacement of defective components.

Raising a warranty claim

To register a warranty claim, please contact our support team with the following details:

  • The machine’s serial number
  • Proof of purchase
  • A brief description of the issue

How we resolve your issue

Vendolite follows a structured two-step service process designed for the fastest possible resolution:

Step 1 — Virtual inspection and remote support:

Upon receiving your request, our service team will first conduct a virtual inspection of the machine through a video call or guided remote diagnosis. Many common issues can be identified and resolved on the spot with step-by-step assistance from our technicians, saving you valuable downtime.

Step 2 — On-site service visit:

If the issue cannot be resolved through remote support, Vendolite will promptly depute a service technician to your location to inspect and rectify the fault directly at your premises.

This approach ensures that minor issues are fixed within hours, while complex faults receive dedicated on-site attention without unnecessary delay.

Service beyond the warranty period

Upon expiry of the one-year warranty, Vendolite continues to provide complete service and repair support on a chargeable basis. Charges are determined by the nature and extent of the defect, the components required, and the labour involved.

A detailed cost estimate is shared with you before any repair commences, and work proceeds only upon your approval — ensuring complete transparency with no unexpected charges.

Warranty exclusions

The warranty does not extend to damage or defects arising from:

  • Improper installation, operation, or storage contrary to Vendolite’s guidelines
  • Misuse, negligence, accidents, vandalism, or tampering
  • Repairs, alterations, or modifications performed by personnel not authorized by Vendolite
  • Use of non-genuine or incompatible spare parts or accessories
  • Power fluctuations, improper electrical supply, or inadequate earthing at the installation site
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage
  • Force majeure events, including fire, flood, lightning, or other natural calamities

Service necessitated by any of the above will be chargeable, irrespective of whether the machine remains within the warranty period.

Rental machines — complimentary service throughout

For machines availed under Vendolite’s rental model, all service, maintenance, and repair support is provided entirely free of charge for the full duration of your rental agreement, with no warranty time limit.

This coverage includes breakdowns, functional faults, and preventive maintenance, and follows the same two-step process — a virtual inspection and remote support first, followed by an on-site technician visit if the issue remains unresolved. However, damage attributable to misuse, tampering, or negligence at your premises may be charged on actuals.

Rental machines remain the sole property of Vendolite at all times and must not be relocated, modified, or serviced by unauthorized personnel without our prior written consent.

Limitation of liability

Vendolite’s obligations under this policy are limited to the repair and servicing of the machine as described herein. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the purchase price or rental charges paid for the machine concerned. Vendolite shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business, revenue, or stock stored within the machine.

Policy updates

Vendolite reserves the right to amend this policy from time to time. The version published on vendolite.com at the time of your purchase or rental shall apply.
